What is the Windows GPG Agent?  

The agent provide a way to cache the GPG passphrases. It's very useful if you have to decrypt much emails or other data and you don't want to enter the passphrase again and again.

The latest CVS version of GPG contains the agent client code. So you need a binary of the GPG 1.0.6a at all costs! You can download the prepared binary from this site or you can compile it yourself. From now on, all patches are included in the main CVS, so you don't need the patches from this site any longer :-). With the GPG 1.0.7 the full W32 agent support is available.

• Binary version 0.1.0   (18k) signature  
  Contains all files that are needed to use the agent.
• The source is available in the last WinPT source archive. You can find it on the download page.
• GnuPG binary 1.0.6a-winpt   (256k) signature  
  The GPG version with the client code for the agent.

Before you use the agent, please carefully read the README file!
